Bride: elizabeth Jones

Groom: David Watson

Man of Honor: Carl York

Carl has been Elizabeth’s best friend since they decided it was so at Shields Elementary in 1990.  There are so many stories about Carl and Elizabeth that it is difficult to choose one to share here.  They had most of the same teachers in Junior High, and were terrorized by the same Principals.  They went to the same summer camp, and the same ski trip, the same prom, together, and spent many hours in the same pool at The Jones’s house.  When they go out to shop or party, do not expect to see them until the next day.  Carl has been a member of Elizabeth’s family for so many years that it is possible that they now share actual DNA.  A better best friend is impossible to find. Carl is currently a Corporate Payroll guru for LaQuinta, and Dallas APA Vice President.

Best Man: Dallas Hodge

Dallas and Dave have been friends since they were kids, and lived down the street from each other. They have always been close and remain close to this day. Dave considers the hodges to be part of his family. Dallas Currently lives in Midlothian, TX and works for the Midlothian ISD as a Band Instructor.

Bridesmaid: Juliane Wiegert 

Juliane and Elizabeth met in 2006 in a really terrible karaoke bar in the northern suburbs of Chicago.  Juliane was working as an au pair by day and Spice Girl by night.  Baby and Posh sang, danced, and laughed together for many months between Lollapalooza and trips to North Avenue Beach.  They were instant friends from the first night they met, and felt like they had known each other for years.  Eventually Juliane returned home to Germany, but the two never lost touch, and plan a reunion tour of Dallas this October.  Juliane is currently a student of International Business at Haaga-Helia University in Helsinki. 

Groomsman: Michael Clay

Dave and "Clay" have been friends since High School. They met through mutual friends who have since come and gone, but their friendship went on. Interestingly, he was also a college classmate of Elizabeth's. Michael works for target as a Manager, and resides in Cedar Hill, TX, but periodically flies to Chicago only to drive to Wisconsin for cheese shopping.

BridesMaid: Jane Mozingo

Jane is Elizabeth's cousin and friend. The pair enjoy shopping for designer jeans, eating, drinking wine, and philosophizing on the state of the world... often in that order. Jane has been a role model and inspiration to Elizabeth over the years, offering not only unconditional love and support, but uncommonly good advice. Jane is currently the busy mom of sons Cameron and John Paul, as well as a self-employed Realtor, active Junior League member, and general superwoman in San Antonio, Texas.

Groomsman: ELijah Nelms

"Mamma Eli" and dave met when Dave was looking for a place to live his Junior Year at Northwood University. Through a friend on the hockey team, dave and eli became roommates. They quickly became friends and have been great friends ever since. They have shared the highs and lows of many fantasy sports seasons and long evenings at Bennigan's. Elijah currently works as a web designer in Arlington, Texas. His art has been displayed at several galleries throughout the Metroplex.

Bride’s Attendant: Cole Jones

What can you say about Cole Jones?  He is Elizabeth’s first and oldest friend.  Many times, you maintain a relationship with your siblings because they are people who have the same parents, but Cole has become much more interesting since his early days of crying a lot and watching He-Man.  Elizabeth could not imagine not being friends with Cole, relative or not.  The two share superior taste in comedy and music, as well as Japanese cuisine and fine beers.  Since they have traveled the country together out of necessity, they share many deeply convoluted inside jokes, which confuse their other friends.  Cole Jones is great, as his email address advertises.  Cole is currently a communications Officer in the Glenn Heights Police Department and devourer of classic literature. 

Groomsman: Doug Watson

Doug is the younger brother of dave. They both love the game of basketball. In fact, Doug is a Middle school basketball coach at Kennedale ISD. He hopes to one day become a Head Coach. Doug is married to Jennifer and Dave and Elizabeth love both of them very much.

Flower Girl: Ava Hodge

Ava is the oldest daughter of Best Man Dallas, and big sister to Ellie, Jamie, and Graham. She has been friends with Dave and Elizabeth her entire life. She is an excellent helper in the kitchen, and enjoys assisting Elizabeth with many culinary tasks. She enjoys playing sports, reading, and singing along with her mp3 player. Her favorite color is blue. Ava is currently entering second grade.

Flower Girl: Eleanor Hodge

Ellie is a year younger than Ava, and a big sister to little brothers Jamie and Graham. She is a Wii Sports prodigy, often defeating much older players, especially in bowling. She is very friendly, and can be found making conversation with pretty much anyone at a party. She enjoys doing ballet and drawing. A piece of Ellie's art is prominently displayed in Elizabeth's office at work, which always makes her smile. Ellie's favorite color is pink, and she is currently entering first grade.
